About Me
Welcome. I’m Dr. Mitchell, an integrative therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and adolescents through life’s most challenging moments. My practice is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for the resilience each person brings to the therapeutic journey.
I specialize in working with trauma, grief and loss, emerging adults (ages 15–25), and couples. I also have a strong interest in helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, eating concerns, women’s issues, parenting challenges, and major life transitions.

In my work with couples, I draw from the research-based approach of Drs. John and Julie Gottman, focusing on building emotional intimacy, mutual respect, and a strong foundation of friendship. This method helps couples foster lasting connection and navigate conflict with greater understanding. I create a space where the couple can talk about difficult or uncomfortable topics and practice new ways of communicating that allow them each to feel heard and respected. I also see couples who are preparing to live together, get married, start a family, or simply to reach a higher level of intimacy. And I support couples who are no longer together though they want to co-parent in a healthy and positive manner.
My therapeutic style is warm, interactive, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate multiple modalities to provide practical tools and meaningful insights, always within a safe and non-judgmental space. Whether you're seeking healing, clarity, or growth, my goal is to help you move toward a more fulfilling and empowered life.
